The Anchor Watch application is a straightforward yet highly effective tool designed to alert users if their vessel begins to drag its anchor. Its simplicity in design belies its robust functionality, making it a valuable asset for maritime safety.

Featuring a modern and comprehensive interface, Anchor Watch offers several useful capabilities:

Quickly set your anchor with a single tap, streamlining the initial setup process.
Utilize an advanced mode for precise positioning in confined anchorage areas, allowing for more spatial flexibility.
Remote Watch functionality enables monitoring from off the boat, providing added peace of mind.
Alerts are delivered even when the phone is on silent mode through Critical Alerts, ensuring timely notifications.
Real-time anchor position can be viewed via Dynamic Island and Lock Screen widgets without opening the app.
The app maintains a history log of all anchoring locations for future reference or analysis.
Anchor placement can be set by pointing the device toward the anchor point, facilitating accurate positioning.
Adjustments can be made easily by dragging and dropping the anchor indicator if initial placement is not precise.

Privacy considerations are prioritized, with no third-party analytics, advertisements, or tracking incorporated. The Remote Watch feature stores location data securely within a private container on Apple’s servers, protected by iCloud account security. Neither the developers nor third parties have access to this data.

The application is available free of charge for up to ten alarms. Subsequent usage requires a modest subscription fee, supporting ongoing development and updates. Subscription payments are processed through the user’s iTunes account and renew automatically 24 hours before the current period ends. Subscription management can be handled at any time via device settings.
